Different branches of service vary in their tuition assistance programs:

Active Army


GoArmyEd is the website where all Soldiers on active duty can request Tuition Assistance (TA) online for classroom, distance learning, and eArmyU online courses.

The following programs are covered on this site:

For specific questions, you can contact the GoArmyEd Help Desk at (800) 817-9990. You can email them from their website by selecting the “Create Helpdesk Case” option in their Help link.

Army Reserve


At the GoArmy website, you can explore many options for tuition assistance. The site includes a description and eligible dollar amounts for the following programs:

  • Army Reserve Education Career Stabilization (ECS)
  • Selected Reserve Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB)
  • Army Reserve MGIB “Kicker”
  • 9/11 GI Bill
  • Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Scholarships
  • College Loan Repayment Program
  • Tuition Assistance
  • Concurrent Admissions Program (ConAP)

Army National Guard


ARNG Education Division provides assistance on educational benefits for members of the Army National Guard. The website covers the following programs:

  • Educational Benefits
  • 9/11 GI Bill
  • Montgomery GI Bill
  • GED Plus
  • Patriot Academy
